Cannabis Lab Results & Certificates of Analysis

Every Halara batch is third-party tested at ISO-certified labs for 101 individual contaminants — pesticides, heavy metals, residual solvents, mycotoxins, and microbials — before it ever reaches a shelf.

Why it matters

Why Lab Testing Matters

Consumer Safety

Lab testing catches pesticides, heavy metals, and solvents before they reach your lungs. Without testing, you're trusting a label — not science.

Product Transparency

A COA tells you exactly what's in the product: potency, terpene profile, and whether it passed every contaminant screen. No guessing.

Industry Accountability

Published lab results hold brands accountable. If a company won't show you their COAs, ask yourself why.

What We Test For

Every batch goes through a comprehensive panel covering 101 individual contaminants across five categories.

66

Pesticides screened

20

Residual solvents

6

Microbial impurities

5

Mycotoxins

4

Heavy metals

Zero Recalls. Ever.

Every batch that doesn't pass gets pulled. No exceptions, no asterisks.

COA Guide

How to Read a COA

A Certificate of Analysis is your proof that what's on the label matches what's in the product. Here's what to look for.

1

Find the Batch Number

Every Halara package has a unique batch number. This links to the specific lab test for the oil in your cart.

2

Check the Lab Name

Look for the ISO-certified third-party lab that performed the test. Halara never uses in-house testing.

3

Read the Potency Results

THC, CBD, and total cannabinoid percentages. This tells you exactly how strong the product is.

4

Review Contaminant Panels

Pesticides, heavy metals, residual solvents, mycotoxins, and microbials. Every line should read 'Pass' or 'ND' (not detected).

5

Confirm Pass Status

The overall result should be 'Pass' across all panels. If any panel fails, the batch doesn't ship. Period.

Lab Testing FAQ

Are Halara products lab tested?
Yes. Every single batch is tested at ISO 17025-accredited third-party labs for 101 contaminants including pesticides, heavy metals, mycotoxins, residual solvents, and microbials. We publish full COA (Certificate of Analysis) results for transparency. Zero DCC recalls as of March 2026 — verifiable at recalls.cannabis.ca.gov.
What's in a Halara vape cartridge?
Nothing artificial. Our Naturally Smooth line contains cannabis-derived distillate with natural terpenes. Our Resin Sauce line is whole plant extract — flower in a cart. No cutting agents, no additives, no PG/VG, no vitamin E acetate. Ever. Verified via batch-specific COAs tested at ISO 17025-accredited labs. Zero DCC recalls as of March 2026.
What hardware does Halara use?
We exclusively use glass cartridges with medical-grade stainless steel and ceramic heating elements. Most other brands use plastic cartridges where microplastics can leach into the oil. We avoid this entirely. Unlike brands using polycarbonate plastic where microplastics can leach into heated oil, Halara's glass-and-ceramic construction ensures nothing artificial touches the product.
How do I read a COA (Certificate of Analysis)?
A COA shows the lab test results for a specific batch. Look for: THC/CBD percentages (potency), pesticide results (should all pass), heavy metals (should all pass), residual solvents (should be ND — not detected), and mycotoxins (should all pass). We have a full guide on our Learn page.
What does 94% TAC mean?
TAC stands for Total Active Cannabinoids. 94% TAC means 94% of the oil by weight is active cannabinoids (THC, CBD, etc.). This is a measure of potency and purity — higher TAC means less filler.
What are terpenes and why do they matter?
Terpenes are the aromatic compounds in cannabis that create flavor and aroma profiles. They also influence the effects — myrcene promotes relaxation, limonene boosts mood, caryophyllene reduces inflammation. Halara preserves natural terpene profiles in all products.
